Copy Warren Buffett and hedge funds
Every large investment manager files its US stock holdings with the SEC each quarter. Volaren turns those filings into portfolios you can follow, from Berkshire Hathaway to Bridgewater, and lets an AI agent copy one into your own account inside limits you set.

Where the holdings come from
A manager with more than $100 million in US stocks files a Form 13F with the SEC for every quarter. Volaren reads each tracked filer’s 13Fs straight from SEC EDGAR, back to 2013, and picks up a new one on the weekday it is filed. Amendments that restate a quarter replace the original.
- Timing. A 13F is due 45 days after the quarter ends, so the holdings it shows are as of the last day of that quarter. Volaren shows both dates on every filing: the quarter it covers and the day it was filed.
- What it covers. A 13F lists the US-listed stocks and some options a manager holds. The copy is built from the stock positions, weighted by their value in the filing.
How it works
- Open Copy trade and pick an investor or fund.
- Choose the account: practice money, or a broker account connected with trading turned on.
- Choose the mode: approve each batch with one tap, or let it trade automatically inside your limits.
- Check the limits. A copy starts at $1,000 a month, $500 per order, 10% of the account per position and 10 orders a day, in US stocks and ETFs. Change any of them.
- Choose Match now to buy the latest portfolio at once, sized to your monthly budget, or start from the next filing.
- The copy runs as an AI agent, with its own budget and record. It tells you what it bought and why.
When a new filing lands
Each new 13F becomes one batch that moves your copy to the new weights: new positions are bought, positions the fund added to are topped up, and positions it trimmed or sold are trimmed or sold in your account. In approve mode the batch waits for your tap. In automatic mode it trades inside your limits, and any trade that would break one comes to you to approve.
A batch moves only the copy’s own positions. The copy keeps its own book in your account, separate from shares you bought yourself.
What you see
- Latest moves: what changed in the newest filing, such as “Berkshire added OXY”.
- The portfolio: the current book with each position’s weight, and every past quarter behind it.
- Performance: the one-year record against the S&P 500, plus the last month, three months, year to date, since the first filing and the largest drawdown. It is measured from the day each filing became public, so it is a return a follower could actually have had.
- Your copy’s own record: the trades your AI agent placed, marked as practice or real money. Every account starts with a practice account holding $100,000 of practice money, so you can watch a copy run before real money moves.
Questions
Can I copy Warren Buffett’s portfolio?
Yes. Volaren builds Berkshire Hathaway’s US stock portfolio from its 13F and your AI agent mirrors it in your account, sized to your budget, and updates it each quarter when the new filing lands.
How current are the holdings?
As current as the law makes them. A 13F shows holdings at the end of a quarter and is due 45 days later. Volaren picks it up the weekday it is filed and shows both dates.
How often does my copy trade?
Once per new filing, which for a 13F is once a quarter. Each filing is one batch that moves your copy to the new weights.
Which brokers can it trade at?
Volaren places orders at Webull, Public, E*TRADE, tastytrade and moomoo. At Robinhood, Fidelity, Schwab and other brokers it reads your account, sizes each change to it and explains it, and you place the trade there. See Brokers.
Can I copy more than one fund?
A free account follows one person, fund or strategy. The paid plan follows as many as you like, and placing orders at your broker needs it.
